Welcome to Burntmoon Photography
Hi and welcome to my web site. After years of procrastination and reluctance to put my work in the public domain, or private for that matter, I have finally succumbed. The galleries here represent a small percentage of my work but does I hope, give some idea of the scope of my work and the kind of things that inspire me. This has been made so much easier by the switch to digital.
Although I administer the site and am the one that presses the shutter, you would not still be reading this were it not for the help, encouragement and support of some good friends. I am not going to list them here, they know who they are. Their willingness to model for me, their massive input of ideas and their constant encouragement is what keeps this website going. Burntmoon.com is not about one person. It's about a growing family of friends and thanks to them a number of projects are underway. The first glimpses of some can be seen in the models gallery. For example the "colour of money" from the Billingham barn shoot is the first in a series of pictures of that project.
This is not an exclusive club or a clique. If you like the work in the models gallery, are prepared to contribute ideas and are happy to try modeling then please get in touch through the contacts section or by emailing burntmoon_uk@yahoo.co.uk. Please check out the new News section to keep up with new developments.
A few people have asked about visitor numbers. I do not have a counter on the site, but I do monitor visitor numbers. To give you some idea, in the 10 weeks up to 25/03/07, the average number of visitors PER WEEK, was 79, peaking at 100. These visitors accessed the site on average 104 times per week, looking at an average of 823 pages per week, with a high of 2135 pages viewed in a week! Tell your friends about the site and let's get the figures even higher!! ;o)
Should you be interested some of the landscape and wildlife images are available for purchase. For further details and prices please visit

I have some burntmoon.com t-shirts and polo shirts, available in a number of colours, for sale.
If you would like to know more about me, my work and my past achievements please go to the About Me section.
Before you go I would especially welcome feedback on the images here and the web site generally. You can do this via the "contact me" section. Why not check out the links section for my sister sites, and the guestbook to see the comments of other visitors.
Cheers, Moony
